This is a fantastic oil painting of the Rock em Sock em robots in a boxing ring. It was conceived and commissioned by TheSneeze and painted by robot artist Eric Joyner (He’s an artist who paints robots, not a robot who paints art. Just in case of confusion).

I would pay good money to have this hanging on my wall, but in the meantime it makes a great wallpaper!

The TARDIS is an iconic craft. I say craft because like many time machines it’s also capable of travelling through space. The one in HG Well’s ‘The Time Machine’ couldn’t though, as far I can remember. Anyway, this one is for hardcore Dr Who fans. I can’t speak to its accuracy though, and for a schematic, you’d have a hard time building your own from bits of broken watches.

Another great CG wallpaper, this time it’s a lightbike from the disney movie Tron. I wasn’t particularly keen on the new movie, I especially felt cheated by the 3D version; such a wasted opportunity. Anyway the original was great. I love the recognizers personally, the concept is realized excellently; they’re exactly what the spaceships in early computer games would look like if they were real.
